On February 1st, Dr. Beatrice Adams and Dr. Christina Welsch of the History Department, and Dr. Désirée Weber of the Political Science Department, hosted a roundtable discussion on the 1619 Project by Nikole Hannah-Jones on the current backlash against teaching “Critical Race Theory.”
It was an evening of engaging discussion thanks to the excellent turnout and thought-provoking questions.
