Come join the information session on Thursday if you’d like to learn more about this spring-summer course on documentary filmmaking & history in Buenos Aires.
Info Session: Thursday, October 21 at 11am in APEX Commons
HIST 218 – Documentary Filmmaking & History in Buenos Aires (Crosslisted with Communication Studies, GMDS, History, and Latin American Studies)
The course is an intensive filmmaking workshop and an introduction to the lively history and culture of Argentina. The course includes several meetings and practical preparation in Wooster, a 16-day stay in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where students will work with the National Geographic filmmaker, Tom Donohue, and with local assistants to produce their own films, and a week of work in which students will reflect on their experiences and finish the final cut of their films.
I’ll be holding a few information sessions through the fall and winter (12/2 and 1/20), with an application deadline in January (1/22). More information on this and other TREK programs at GEO Compass.
Also feel free to sign up for office hours with Prof. Shaya to discuss.
