Dr. Jordan Biro Walters is this years recipient of the Experiential Learning Award!
Nominated by her colleagues in the history department, Margaret Ng and Christina Welsch, Walters is recognized for being a driving force for experiential learning on campus. She consistently uses experiential learning to enrich the study of history, leveraging site visits, displaying and communicating the past with community partners such as the Wayne County Historical Society, and serving as a founding member of the Ohio Five’s “Humanities at Work” working group to secure a major grant to support student experiential learning opportunities.
Congratulations, Dr. J!
