Next Tuesday we will welcome Dr. Fu, Assistant Professor of History at Case Western Reserve University, to give her talk The Romance of the Bean: Soybeans and Science in Republican China in Kauke 305 at 4:00pm.
Dr. Fu received her PhD in History from Yale University. Some of the courses Dr. Fu teaches include Modern China, Martial Arts in China and Japan, and a history of the Qing Empire. Her research focuses on Late Imperial and twentieth-century China, the history of medicine, the history of the body, and the history of nutrition and dietetics.
