Dear Students,
I write to invite you to the Spring History Picnic, coming up this Wednesday, May 1, from 4 to 6pm, in the Bornhuetter Pavilion (behind Bornhuetter). Come by and help us celebrate the Department, with a special nod to our Senior graduates and new History majors!
History majors & minors, majors with a home department in History, students interested in history, and colleagues from related disciplines (which includes all disciplines) are all welcome! Feel free to bring along friends, roommates, etc.
We’ll supply hamburgers and veggie burgers, salads and drinks.
There will be croquet, as always. And it has been rumored that Prof. Shaya’s Modern France course has challenged Prof. Schilling’s Modern Britain course to a test on the field of honor. (Croquet? Horseshoes? Quiz bowl? Jousting? You will have to show up to find out).
