On behalf of the Department of History, I’m writing to invite you to the Fall History Picnic, next Wednesday, September 12, from 5 to 7pm, in the Bornhuetter Pavilion (behind Bornhuetter). History majors & minors, majors with a home department in History, students interested in history, and colleagues from related disciplines (which includes all disciplines) are welcome!
We’ll supply hamburgers and veggie burgers, salads and drinks. There will be croquet – and the distant possibility that students might end the long string of faculty victories. Some of your favorite professors will be on hand.
In case of heavy rain or severe thunderstorm warnings we will postpone for a better day. We hope to see you all there! gks
