Every year, junior History majors complete their Junior Independent Study (IS). This one semester Junior IS is modeled after the Senior IS and prepares students for the year-long project to come. Similar to the Senior IS, History students choose a topic to research, meet once a week with their advisors, attend workshops, and design and present their research through a poster session.
