The third and final Junior I.S. Workshop is the Thursday, September 30 at 11 am in Kauke 137.
Students will break into groups of three or four, joined by faculty. You should be prepared to present your title, topic, research question, analysis, and argument. Practice your oral presentation!
Booth’s The Craft of Research – especially chapters 3 and 4 on developing an argument and formulating a research question – will be invaluable in this process.
The Junior I.S. Workshops are required for all students enrolled in History 401 (Junior I.S.) in the Fall Semester. However, all history majors are invited to attend.
