Ashraf Ghani’s presentation “AFGHANISTAN: Owning the Present, Building the Future” is TONIGHT (Monday, September 27 at 7:30 pm in McGaw Chapel). Dr Ghani will also be available this afternoon for an informal conversation from 3-4 p.m. in the Babcock Hall Lounge.
Ghani is an advisor to Afghan President Hamid Karzai and was recently asked to adjust his schedule so that he could be in Afghanistan for a meeting with President Karzai at the beginning of October. It is an exciting opportunity to have a speaker on campus that is central to current events in Afghanistan and the world.
